Fillet Steak

Beef Fillet Steak is the most tender muscle on the whole body of Beef. The fillet muscle is so tender because it does the least work & is situated inside the carcass underneath the sirloin & rump in the hindquarter. It is also lean with little fat inside the muscle. This product is not a centre cut fillet and contains the chateaubriand (rump fillet) but not the fillet tip (tail). If its centre cut fillet you require please see centre cut fillet to order.

Bring steaks to room temperature, remove from packaging, brush with oil & season as desired. Heat oil in the pan to high and place in the steak. Try not to move the steak until side one is ready to turn. Turn steak over and repeat above process until cooked to your liking. Remove from pan and 'rest' for 5 minutes. Enjoy :-)
